Combined market capitalisation of all BSE-listed companies got eroded to Rs 134.38 lakh crore in the initial trades. The Sensex is down 767.88 points at 33993.01, while Nifty is down 228.80 points at 10231.30. About 730 shares have advanced, 1728 shares declined, and 962 shares are unchanged.
Chief executive officer (Balasubramanian) at Birla Sun Life AMC, suggests looking at stocks with growth opportunities. “As mid- and small-cap stocks have corrected more, it’s time to look at stocks that have good growth opportunity.”
